Cultural Heritage & Tourism Overview
Glendora's comprehensive community revitalization plan entails establishing a leadership role in promoting a new model of cultural tourism in the Delta. A core component of Glendora 's model is the recognition and celebration of African American cultural heritage, as well as valued lessons learned from the on-going struggle for human rights and justice throughout the Mississippi Delta. In addition, the Town of Glendora has been at the forefront of a new regional cultural alliance that reflects an evolving partnership between the citizens of Glendora and a number of regional and national organizations and institutions, including:
