Glendora ‘s new Broadband Communications System is jointly sponsored by the citizens of Glendora , the Glendora Economic & Community Development Corporation, and AbsoCom Corporation.
AbsoCom Corporation designed the system and specializes in bringing high-speed Internet access and quality broadband services to rural communities through joint planning and collaboration. The specific goals of Glendora ‘s technology infusion development project are to effectively deploy and expand a new communications system that is designed:
To ensure that every citizen & household is linked to the global community through access to innovative wireless technologies, the Internet, & World Wide Web;
To guarantee reliable access and Internet connectivity for local businesses to support local economic growth & regional vitality;
To support & enhance early child, after school, and continuing educational services to improve the quality of education received among all age levels, and to promote career, professional development, and a commitment to lifelong educational opportunities among adult learners; and
To enhance Glendora ‘s capacity to disseminate its own news & information that promotes the town’s cultural legacy to state-wide, national & global communities.
